These prep bowls are absolutely wonderful. I like them because they have lids, so I can prepare ingredients hours before I am actually going to finish working on the recipe. This is essential for me with two very active and demanding toddlers running around. I also like the sizes that these come in, they are very convenient. It is also nice that they are nested for easy storage. I make homemade bread and the 4 cup size is the one I use most for measuring the flour. It is also handy for measuring the chocolate chips for fudge and other delicious holiday treats. These prep bowls are hard to find, so buy them now while you can.

I only wish that they were easier to dry and towel off, especially the lids. I usually have to leave them on the counter or dish drainer to dry off for a while after they come out of the dishwasher. This small inconvenience did not warrant a subtraction in the stars, so I still awarded these essential prep bowls 5 stars. In fact, I think I am going to buy two more sets.

I have the matching mixing bowls, and like those, each bowl capacity is clearly marked on the bottom. The lids fit snugly; a quality set!

We got a set of these in white, and after the first dishwasher experience, not only did the largest lid shrink (so it is now unusable and the largest bowl has no lid), the "Kitchenaid" lettering is also now completely unreadable. Very disappointed in the quality of this product, especially given I have been a kitchenaid fan for years and have several of their appliances. Even though these are a low cost item, for kitchenaid to put their brand on such a low quality item is disspointing and speaks badly about the brand as a whole. Would not buy these again nor would I recommend them! Perhaps I just got a bad batch, still upsetting.

Wow! I've bought a couple sets for storage of veggies and fruits! What a turn around... I've always had bowls like from Tuperware where the lids were hard to fit and sometimes never fit. These the lids fit like a charm and are a wonderful item. I also have the mathing mixing bowls too!

Would certainly recommended this product!

On 3 out of 4 of my bowls, the lids fit great, but somehow on that 4th bowl, the lid just won't go on. If you pick up this bowl by the lid the lid will come off completely. So these are great for the price I suppose. I'm going to buy regular storage ware next time.

Oh my gosh - order multiple sets of these - one for you and several of your friends! The lids snap tight and the bowls are sturdy and the markings for the measurements on the bottom are an added bonus!

These bowls are great for setting up all your ingredients close at hand before starting a recipe, but be warned - the lids do not stay on securely. The largest bowl is the worst, but none of the bowls have a nice tight fit with their lids, making it hard to use them as storage bowls. I picked one up out of the fridge and ended up with a floor full of chopped onion!

As long as you don't care too much about the lids, the bowls are great. They're easy to wash, and the variety of sizes is convenient.

I am so glad I purchased these. The quality is excellent. I prep a lot of stuff before I begin cooking, and I don't always cook it right away. I had never had prep bowls with lids. Definitely the way to go. Having lids makes all the difference. I love the bright color---always know they are prep stuff. The quality is excellent--very sturdy and of course dishwasher safe. Kitchenaid--never disappoints.

Nice sizes, love the color and overall great bowls. Use them all the time. Would definitely recommend to a friend and I'm going back and getting another set!

My set of 4 bowls came very nicely packaged and arrived amazingly fast. They are great bowls, both attractive & very functional too. The lids go on & off easily and are a nice fit. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend them to anyone.
