4.0 out of 5 stars Great pan, June 20, 2008
This review is from: KitchenAid Gourmet Distinctions Stainless Steel 1-3/4-Quart Covered Saucepan (Kitchen)
I am pleased with this pan. My husband used it first and almost burned food to the bottom but it cleaned up easily. The only concern was a little discoloration around the inside toward the bottom. I don't know if that was due to being overheated in first use, or from the pretreatment to take off the protective coating on the copper as instructed before using. It doesn't seem to affect it's performance, though, so it's not really a problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Size Saucepan...I like it, November 17, 2009
This review is from: KitchenAid Gourmet Distinctions Stainless Steel 1-3/4-Quart Covered Saucepan (Kitchen)
I really like this stainless steel saucepan...it is perfect size...doesn't overwhelm your stovetop yet still has ample room for several servings. The saucepan is very nice looking and it cooks evenly. I also own KitchenAid's 4-3/4 quart Gourmet Distinctions monster when I need a bigger pan for some homemade chili or stew. It is also a terrific pan. The handles on these pans don't get hot and are comfortable in your hand...love the glass lids too...all in all I have to say A+ to KitchenAid's Gourmet Distinctions.

2.0 out of 5 stars Cute but rusty, November 12, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: KitchenAid Gourmet Distinctions Stainless Steel 1-3/4-Quart Covered Saucepan (Kitchen)
I purchased this pot from Amazon February 2009 after admiring it at Kohl's for a much higher price. I have barely used the thing and the lid is rusting around the rim. The copper portion of the pot is discolored. I always wash my SS by hand and I have many pieces from different manufacturers but only the KitcheAid has rusted. I am sending it back to Meyer Corporation. It will be interesting to see what they do about it.
