This beautiful stockpot is made with a specially processed hard-anodized aluminum core and exterior and an 18/10 stainless-steel cooking surface. KitchenAid has developed a product with a new marble-like appearance that won't scratch or mar, unlike other anodized aluminum cookware, and is easier to clean. Its stainless-steel lining doesn't react to acidic foods, while the hard-anodized exterior conducts heat quickly and evenly. The stainless-steel handles on the pot and lid stay cool to the touch and are riveted for a lifetime's worth of lifting. The pan's deep-lipped lid design ensures a tight fit for faster cooking times and a minimum of rattling. This stockpot is the ideal size for soups and stews, and it even holds a small chicken for making broth.
