5.0 out of 5 stars perfect for lumpy gravy
This little gizmo is so handy for last minute repair jobs on a lumpy gravy. So much easier to use and less messy than a hand whisk. And just as easy to clean up! Tuck it into a lower cabinet close to the stove, along with the hand held blender and you'll be more inclined to reach for it than if it's stowed up near the rafters.

T. ross: What makes you think J. Palyszeski did not check for compatibility? I have the KHB100OB and I checked to the point of phoning Kitchen Aid. Their customer support assured me that I can use the whisk with it. The 100s, 200s and 300s all have the same motor, just that one comes with no accessories (the 100) or additional accessories (200 and 300). On that strength,...

Great for smaller jobs, like whipping couple of egg whites, when my standing mixer is too big for it.

I bought an immersion blender for a ridiculously low price a few years ago, and though I don't use a lot, it's great for blending soups to a creamy consistency. When I discovered that it had a whisk attachment I put it on my Christmas wish list (three years running). This past holiday I finally received it as a gift.

It whips cream wonderfully (and quickly), not only in the cup that came with the blender, but in a large glass measuring cup, or in a bowl.

Well worth the price.

The 100s, 200s and 300s all have the same motor, just that one comes with no accessories (the 100) or additional accessories (200 and 300). On that strength, I purchased the whisk. Well, I won't give it more than 3 stars either. The whisk does indeed wobble -- it feels like the stem doesn't fit well enough into the adapter to keep it steady. It didn't come with the same one-year warranty as the Immersion Blender unit and I hope nothing goes wrong as I use it. The blender itself is great.

This whisk attachment works great but, for anything less than 4-5 eggs I wouldn't bother. Make sure you start on low and have a big enough bowl.

5.0 out of 5 stars Happy, but would have preferred instructions., January 10, 2011
I am very happy with the product. It was shipped quickly and came exactly as described. I wish there was instructions that came with each item because I have already broken one of them trying to connect and remove it from the base.

Wobbles and, even on slowest speed, throws whatever you're blending all over the place even when using the cup that came with the blender. Mine is in the landfill now.

I had lots of problems with this. I returned to Amazon once and the new one still didn't work properly. It wobbled and came out of the socket rather easily. However, I contacted KA and they sent me a new one-that worked. Now I will give it a 5 Star.

3.0 out of 5 stars low speed only, August 10, 2010

this whisk attachment fits with a little wobble. At low speed this is fine, but if you turn it up it sprays whatever you are whisking everywhere.
