The processor measures just 6-3/8 inches wide, 13-3/4 inches high, and 7-1/2 inches deep and weighs 10 pounds so it won't skitter on the counter during operation. KitchenAid says the first year of the processor's lifetime warranty against defects is "hassle-free," with a replacement shipped at no cost and without question if a defect is detected. --Fred Brack

great little food processor,

I had never had a food processor before, so this was a great one to start with. The two different bowls make clean-up very easy. Also, I was impressed with how quickly the processor incorporated cold sticks of butter into flour (it was done in seconds!). This would probably be too small for large tasks - I was making shortbread which only required about 3 cups of ingredients, and I think anything more than that would get pretty messy (when you take the lid off) and crowded in the bowl. This is great though, especially if you're only cooking for two people.
