Any one looking for a great food processor,You have found it in the Kitchenaid.
Yes - the "wide mouth" feed tube is limiting - you do have to cut the food down so it does not come up above the halfway point on the tube.
I am very impressed with how quiet the KitchenAid processor is, its power, and how quickly it works.

12 cup is an older model food processor. It is big and process ok. The cover
