Wonderful Corer can do more than apples,

Well of course it does apples. BUT unlike my old one the cores do not stick in the tube and you just go right to the next apple to push out the core. 24 apples for the party were done in a snap. Some we stuffed, some sliced, some we cooked in the microwave. My son got creative and tried it on melon. Then we tried it on a potato and then stuffed the potato! The wide handle gives great leverage so you don't need a lot of strength. It keeps your hand from tiring out on large projects, yet works so fast and cleans so easy that you don't mind taking it out for just one apple and it gets ALL the seeds and pips. Update- 10/10/2010 Still working well.

This corer feels sturdy and it punches a big hole. The only problem is that it isn't serrated like the other corers I have. That is its only draw back I have found. I have used this silly thing almost everyday since I got it and it works great. My son doesn't care for it because it takes more force to get it started but it does the job quickand clean.

I bought this for a friend who couldn't find one locally and she is thrilled. Now she can core her apples easily and bake in oven with sugar and cinnamon. Yum!
