This versatile cheese slicer glides through hard or semi-soft cheeses with ease and makes light work of creating cheese trays or hors d’oeuvres for a party. The slicer measures 7-3/4 inches from head to handle’s end and has a thick plastic handle with stainless-steel accents for more controlled movements. The head of the slicer has a 4-inch-wide wire and roller made of heavy-duty stainless steel, which is less likely to snap under pressure when cutting through heavier cheeses. The wire broke off as I was slicing my first slice of chedder cheese. Needless to say, I do NOT recommend this cheese slicer. Last I checked, they're supposed to last longer than one slice. Maybe mine was faulty...but regardless, I expect better.

I bought four hand cheese slicers and returned three of them, including this one. Kept the Trudeau, it's definitely the best.

A very multiuse tool. It cuts different kinds of cheese ina very smooth way. If you have a party, it's wonderful to prepare hors d'oeuvres. It cleans easily.
