First I wanted to mention that this is the same model
as the white professional 9 speed mixer, just in pink!!!
I got this on sale for less $$ than the plain white.
This is a great mixer! Anything you want to mix you will be able to with 9 speeds and the included wisk is perfect for eggs!
I had the Popular braun one for years, and fully intended to get the same as a replacement, since it had a lot of great accessories with it, BUT...I read the reviews about everyone else having the SAME problem that I did. It works still,
but ONLY on high speed. Try whipping pototoes like that!
You will have them EVERYWHERE! So, I Didn't want to be out another $50.00, and the same thing happen again. I read the reviews on this in white and they are great. Found this model on sale for $5.00 less and had to get it.
I think I will have this for years to come, it is made VERY well, and has the BEST range of speeds I have seen on a hand mixer. Great design on the beaters too, They will get the job done on just about anything you can think of.

Edit: I have had this for awhile now, and not at all disappointed. The plus is it is quieter than the one I replaced (not expected as I thought they have the same motor), better low speed (I use this often at the start of mixing). The pink trim is a nice plus for me, as my 3 yr old daughter is now helping me bake cakes, cookies, and such. She loves the fact it has pink on it (as do the interior or the mixing bowls we use). I have no idea how long this product will last at this great price, but it is a steal in my opinion. I no longer desire any other hand mixer.

I currently have the 7 speed mixer, and love it. But, I tried my Mother's 9 speed, and love it more (smoother transitions, lower low speed). So, for the sale price of $39, I have ordered it. And, that is a great deal, since the whisk attachment itself sells for $19. And, I already have the dough hooks from the 7 speed. I'm considering shelling out the $15 for the immersion attachment, however (for mixing drinks).

All of my Kitchenaid products exceedingly are better than other brands in direct comparison. I have no complaints about any of the ones I have, and would recommend this mixer (handheld) in particular to anyone looking at handheld mixers. The price difference to get the Komen Pink one surprised me. They no longer make the model (the current pink for breast cancer is the 7 speed). So, it was nice to find this model anyhow.

Great product. I love this mixer. I own a large stand mixer by KitchenAid so I thought I would try a hand held when my old one quit. I love this mixer. It beats cake batter beautifully, mixes cookies great. This is a great addition for when I don't have a large amount to mix. If you can and you bake a lot get the stand mixer by KitchenAid also. I own the Aristan and love it. Couldn't live without it. This hand held is a new can't live without. It makes mixing so easy. It is also at a great price because of the pink stripe. I like the pink stripe. It reminds me of all the brave women who have fought breast cancer.

We use a hand-held mixer for all of our mixing needs. Our old one "died" and we ran out to get a replacement before checking reviews. We bought one that spewd the batter all over the place on the lowest setting. Then we went to Amazon & checked out the reviews. The Kitchen Aid is everything we wanted. The low is really low and the speed adjustment is very easy to use. The mixers looked a bit flimsy but get the job done. We are very happy with our new mixer and feel glad that part of the purchase price went to breast cancer research.

I bought this hand mixer recently because it went on sale (from $89 to $39), plus it matches my pink satin Accolade. I absolutely love it. This hand mixer is a little quicker to use than my stand mixer and still provides great power for things like mashed potatos (my favorite food).

If you can, I would invest in this hand mixer. So far I have had no problems with my KitchenAid appliances and yet the customer service and waranty coverage are enough to give me total and complete peace of mind.

I bought this mixer in lieu of a stand model due to storage issues. So far, I've been really impressed. It is both powerful and quiet - so quiet that I wasn't sure it was working that hard until I really looked at the batter I was mixing and saw that, yes, it was blending together quite well! It is very comfortable to use, and relatively light for a hand mixer. I bought this when it was on sale for $39.99, as it's the same product as the other 9-speed model, but at the time was much cheaper. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a solid, reliable hand mixer.

This was purchased as a replacement for a KitchenAid 5 Speed hand mixer and I love it. Having the 9 speeds is great and makes doing the mixing jobs a breeze. I would recommend any of the KitchenAid line of mixers any time.

I haven't had this mixer very long and have only used it twice, but the cookie dough I mixed was quite dense and the motor didn't seem strained at all. I especially like the pushbutton feature that allows for definite gradual changes in speed so whatever you're mixing isn't suddenly flying wildly around the kitchen when ratcheting up to a higher speed.

This is the most versitile hand mixer KitchenAid makes. 9 speeds and 2 different types of beaters make this an integral part of your kitchen.
