KitchenAid simply never disappoints me. I used to cut pizza with a big knife, and burn myself all the time. I went to the local drug store & spent $4.99 on a pizza wheel. What a cheap rip-off. I would have to push so hard to cut the crust that the cheese would rip off the pizza. I had just bought a hand held can opener from KitchenAid, and it was so good. So, I ordered the KitchenAid pizza wheel. First off, the wheel is BIG! And I mean BIG. Your hand comes no where even close to the steamy cheese. And the blade is sharp, it whizzes through the crust effortlessly. Now, I've cut my fingers so many times before on knives, etc. so I was concerned about putting this wheel in my drawer and accidentally grabbing it and cutting myself. With the KitchenAid pizza wheel, NO PROBLEM! There is a plastic cover that fits over the entire wheel, and there is no chance of cutting myself. I know it seems like a lot of money just to cut frozen pizza, but it is so worth it. This is so well built and heavy duty, it will last for life.

This thing is huge! It works much better than smaller wheels because it cuts without smashing the pizza toppings as much. I've been looking for a good pizza wheel for a long time, and I finally found a good one. Looks great in cobalt blue, too!

This is the monster truck of pizza cutters. Heavy, solid, sharp, it cuts through pizza better than anything I've seen before. This is a man's pizza cutter. You could edge your lawn with this thing. In case you're worried about losing a limb or ruining all the other gadgets you put in the drawer with this, don't be. The blade guard covers it nicely and fits securely. Throw away whatever wimpy device you're using now and get this - you won't be sorry.

i make several pizzas a week for my wife and i, and i've used a lot of crappy pizza cutters. this kitchenaid cutter is actually better than the one i used while working at a pizza shop.

it's big, it's sharp and it works. if any of those scare you, then this isn't for you. but if you like kitchen gadget that you'll never have to replace, then this is for you.

n.b. this is not for use on non-stick pans or anything else you don't want to scratch. i scored my counter top before i realized just how sharp it is. [now i cut my pizza directly on the stone.]

This is an impressive pizza cutter... and the price is right, too. The cutter feels solid and safe in your hand and will cut through any pizza you can pull out of your oven (let alone have delivered).

You will be pleased by the quality.

I've tried a couple of other pizza wheels, but they've always failed to slice all the way through the pizza. Kitchenaid has designed the perfect pizza slicer. This item slices through both thin and thick crust pizza perfectly. It's larger than other models and makes slicing pizza safer and faster.

Simply the best designed and constructed I've every seen. Heavy, solid handle. Clever blade guard that provides full protection and is easy to get on and off. Probably the last one I'll every buy.

I recently purchase this based on the previous reviews, and they are right it is awesome. I will never by any other pizza cutters again.

Update 8/2/2008 - I still have my kitchen aid pizza wheel and it still works like it did when I first got it, never had to sharpen it. I would still recommend this product even after all these years. :)

I never knew how easy it could be to cut brownies, pizza, whatever as I have found with this beauty. My wife won't go near it because she is afraid of it. It is extremely sharp and would not be good to keep around with kids. It has a sheath and you will want to use it to protect the blade. I can't believe I'm talking about the edge of a pizza cutter, but this thing is just like one of my Henckels in quality. You won't get an argument from any pizza. It will cut through it like warm butter. This is a welcome addition to my arsenal of gadgets.

Although I never expect anything to be perfect this side of heaven, this cutter comes pretty close. I've had this thing for about 6 years and it is fabulous. It is beefy, heavy-duty, and takes the abuse a family of six dishes out. One complaint, somehow the screw got loosened. I must have lost a washer or something somewhere along the way. I constantly have to reassemble it now. I routinely tighten the nut now and keep it snug. It still works great! Best cutter for the money!
