Less Work With Better Results,

This review is from: KitchenAid Nonstick Rolling Pin (Kitchen)
I have only one complaint about this rolling pin: that it wasn't available thirty years ago! The first use of this Kitchenaid Nonstick Rolling Pin proved its vast superiority to the more traditional pins I've used, and subsequent experiments with other pins confirmed it. Its increased heaviness does more of the work for the cook, without being too heavy for delicate doughs. The increased circumference allows it to contact more of the food to be rolled. The nonstick surface resists sticking nicely, and its handles are much easier to hold than either the ball-bearing type or the stationary ones. In short, this pin allows the cook to get on with the job, and to do it better.

I got this rolling pin a year ago from Kohls. Loved it at first and then I noticed little slivers of "silver filings" in my sugar cookie dough! Finally I discovered it was coming from the rolling pin - I don't know what the surface is made of but I won't use it again. I threw out the dough and cookies and had to make new. I don't recommend it for this reason and rolling pins can be expensive - I'm going to look for a marble pin and invest in a good one this time.

KitchenAid Nonstick Rolling Pin,
This review is from: KitchenAid Nonstick Rolling Pin (Kitchen)
This is by far the best rolling pin I've used. I was first impressed with the weight of this pin. Excellent. Pie crust will not stick to this pin while rolling. Hightly recommend, what's $20 of the best rolling pin ever?
