This is a great spatula......I bought mine at Target for 4.99!

Great spatula for the stand mixer bowls. Gets almost everything out of the bowl, unlike every other one I have tried. Haven't had it long enough to know if it will fall apart down the road yet. It is my favorite of the 7 or 8 I own.

I love most Kitchen Aid products and this is one of them. I've never tried using it with hot items, though....afraid to melt it. Who knows, it might survive just fine.

I've had this in regular use for about 1 year. It is absolutely the best bowl scraper I've *ever* used. I have other silicone spatulas that just don't compare. I haven't had a single problem with it either. I highly recommend this and can't imagine not having it now.

I researched for a long time before I finally decided to purchase this KitchenAid Mixer Spatula. I used it about 6 times, less than a year old, and when I was using it, the handle broke! I love this spatula, especially the curved edge that lets you get all the good stuff out of the mixing bowl. I cannot see myself paying $10 for another spatula that will last about 1 year. They look super cool with the silver trim, but they don't seem to be well-made. I will have to research a NON-KitchenAid spatula because this one does not make the grade!

No matter what color you get this spatula in, it works great. It sweeps the batter from the mixing bowl in larger amounts and cleans the bowl better than other brands; I'm sure that the shape makes the difference. I also like the handle, making it alot easier to hold and handle. It will also last longer than other brands.

I love silicon. I have changed out most every spatula that I can for their silicon counterparts. Thank goodness for Kitchenaide, now I can purchase these products at places other than very high end kitchenstores, or at a cookingware party. This has made the formerly very expensive spatula into something more affordable.

One thing that sold me on this as compared to the Le Cruset versions is handle is plastic, so it can go into the dishwasher, whereas theirs were wood and you would have to take them apart to wash them because dirt would get into that small space between the handle and the silicon piece.

If you haven't tried a silicon spatula you are missing out. You can really use this when frying up eggs, vegetables, or anything else. This really is a multipurpose gadget that you will get many years and many uses from.

I loved this spatula until it broke - which wasn't after too many uses (about 10 or so). For me, it was the end part that broke, not the middle or the handle, but the wide part you can take off the end while washing. I paid a fair bit of money for this - even though it was purchased on sale, so I can't see myself buying another though it definitely worked quite well and was loved. Also, it wasn't put through particularly heavy work, so I don't think I could just be careful with it next time. Honestly, they look cool and work well, and are a good brand, but I would recommend you save some money and buy a different product.

I had this spatula less than a year and it broke between the spatula head and the neck. I had one other red kitchenAid spatuala and it broke too, but it broke at the insertion of the silver ring. So it broke in half. I was not doing anything unusual. My cheap ugly spatulas are still going strong after 7 years.
