Product Description

Amazon.com Review

This is one spatula you won't find melted up against the side of the stove. Heat resistant to 500 degrees F, it's crafted from a sturdy silicone that won't scratch or scrape nonstick cooking surfaces. The 3-1/2-by-2-1/2-inch blade has a surface that's curved like a spoon for easy scooping and spreading, and the tip is flexible to let you get at the last drop of batter in the bowl. (Whatever you do, don't tell the kids you'll be using it; they might just go on strike.) The KitchenAid logo even doubles as a rest, so you can place the spatula up against the rim of a bowl without it sliding into the goo. --Mary Park

5.0 out of 5 stars Way too popular an item, June 30, 2002

Ok now I have bought 3 of these things. The first I bought at a store and my Mom has yet to return it. The other didn't make it home from a party. For heat resist to 500 F it is amazingly flexible. Bowl lickers will hate it as it will get it all. Blueberries and raspberries haven't stained it. Better than a regular scraper as it 'spoons' out batter perfectly for cupcakes and toppings for cherry cheesecakes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great spoon spatula, October 20, 2008

I used to use a spoon for mixing and then a spatula for getting the batter out of the bowl. Now I can use this for both things. Cleans up easily in the dishwasher. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Spatula Ever, December 24, 2006
By
I recieved this spatula from my grandmother about 2 years ago and fell in love! Since then, I have purchased three others simply because I use them to cook almost everything. They are perfect for my nonstick pans, baking and are very soft and flexible, yet sturdy enough to be used as a spoon and to stir things. I also do not have to worry about constantly watching them becuase they will not melt up to 500 degrees.
