Although my oven is only a year old, getting used to a gas oven after years of using an electric oven forced me to find a reliable thermometer. I've purchased others that, although they worked, either varied the temperature by more than 50 degrees or collected the food film/grease from the oven like a magnet, thereby impeding readability. This thermometer seems to deflect film - makes for easy reading. My only "complaint" is that it doesn't stay put - it often falls over if I close the oven door too quickly/forcefully. The hook it comes with is a nice feature, but I suspect the design of my oven racks may simply be a bit too close together to allow for proper use of the hook. All in all, it remains a solid and accurate thermometer - yes, I'd buy another.

I've only had this thermometer for about a week, but so far, it does exactly what it's supposed to -- stays in place at the back of the oven and displays the temperature using numbers large enough that I can read them easily without opening the oven door. Very satisfied.

This thermometer more than met my expectations. Its large and easy to read, has a nice design and is pretty durable. I love the Kitchenaid line, I own their beautiful cookware and several small applicanes. Keeping with a trusted name is important to me. I dont need the overhead of a digital unit, I have an older oven and a good reliable thermometer is important to me for baking etc.

This oven thermometer has been very accurate and easy to read in the oven. I studied the other ones before I bought and I am not sorry about my pick. I have a new stove and was having trouble adjusting to the oven. The bell would go off that it had reached the temperature in 10 minutes, but it would really take almost 20 minutes. Having the thermometer really helped me to know when it really hit the right temperature.

This oven thermometer by KitchenAid is quality through and through just like all of their products. I love it because it is so easy to read - not only its size but the angle of the dial makes for a quick reading. I also appreciate the ability to hang it or set it on a shelf.

The thermometer is larger than I expected, but it works well. I have a smaller oven, so it gets in the way sometimes. I should have read the dimensions, before buying.

I trust kitcheaid so I didn't hesitate to buy this oven thermometer. I was not disappointed at all. it's sturdy and didn't fall over in the oven. I was having trouble getting my bread done in the center. My thermometer showed me that the oven was off. I adjusted it and it took care of the problem. It's a good products.

I bought two of these, one as a gift, one for myself. It's accurate according to the temperature setting of my oven. It either sits on the oven rack or it can hang from the rack. A good-looking stainless steel kitchen accessory.

Works great, easy to read, what more do you need? This item is perfect!
