You will love this mixer. It does a beautiful job and no splashing! The beaters eject easily, wash up nicely, and your cake batter will be fluffy. It makes the best meringue I have ever seen! A great price, too.

This appliance has been a wonderful addition to my kitchen. It gets my vote for the best hand mixer around.

I ordered this for my wife for Christmas (no, I'm not an idiot, she actually likes things like this). She already has a KitchenAid stand mixer, so I got this one to match. 2 days after I ordered it, she bought a cheap one somewhere for $3. Never fear, it burnt up during the first use, she now has a matched set of high quality mixers and I look like a genius. Well, that's a stretch but you get the point.

I hesitated to purchase a new mixer because of all the negative comments relating to speed on the low settings of most mixers. Finally, I became desperate. Then I came across a website with Good Housekeeping ratings of mixers; they rated this one as one of the top three against some much higher priced models. I bought it, and my only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. It's great. The lowest speed does not whip ingredients out of the bowl. It is light, comfortable to hold, easy to clean, easy to change speeds, and easy to eject attachments. I highly recommend this mixer. However, I will clarify; I am not a domestic goddess using it daily performing miracles in the kitchen.

Bought this item after another brand lasted one minute. This KitchenAid was recommended by Consumer Reports and after just a few uses is working great. My wife loves it.

This hand mixer is awesome. Not as heavy as I thought it would be - a very nice surprise. I would buy this again and I recommend it to anyone who needs one.

This was purchased as a gift for our Mother. It was mainly brought because she wanted a red mixer. Mom has stated the mixer is light enough for her to use and loves all the attachments. Other than that I can't say anything else because I haven't used it myself.

I don't have the kind of baking habit that requires an expensive stand mixer with a bowl but I still wanted something well-made and sturdy.

I also wanted something that wouldn't splatter chocolate chip cookie dough all over the entire kitchen when I go to blend in dry ingredients.

This mixer succeeds in both areas.

It's nice-looking, easy-to-use and easy-to-store.

I agree with some of the other reviews that it's not crazy powerful, even on the highest setting, so don't buy it if you regularly do heavy-duty mixing (though I have no idea what requires this - are people making cement?).

For pancakes, cookies, cakes, etc. this works wonderfully.

I love love love my new mixer!! The coolest thing, is the speed control, on my old one it seemed like there was no medium just high or low.
The other thing is the beaters are so easy to clean and roomy enough to get your dishcloth in there and get it cleaned good. Absolutely recommend, I think anyone who mixes should own a kitchenaid hand mixer!

KitchenAid has several mixer but I like this on with Ultra Power, made cookies yesterday with a heavy thick batter and this little mixer made it
real easy. This is a new one for me and I couldn't be without it. Free shipping also made it better. Thanks.
