Only purchase it if you like to waste your money or time to return it.

Immediately before I even got it out of the box the faux metal ring at the top came off the top of the unit and the cheap handle had difficulty staying in place.

The turning wheels to dispense measured amounts were stuck and had to be pushed very hard to get it to turn.

When I got these I was so excited about the concept. The Idea is great, they are just not put together very well. I bought 2 of these sets. I followed the directions and I mounted them, then filled the individual containers with my spices. They leak. Where the silver in the front meets the plastic on the side there is a gap and it leaks. It's a pretty big gap so even the flaky thicker spices come through and not just the ground up ones. I thought it was just that one, but out of the 2 carousels 24 individual containers 5 of them had this problem. I didn't want to return them because I already have visible holes for mounting and all my spices are loaded up and previous containers thrown away. I called the company and spoke with Brenda and told her my problem. I thought maybe they could send me some individual replacement containers and I would send the defective ones back to her, she said they where 4$ each. I didn't see why I should have to pay for there defective canisters twice. She said she would talk to her manager Owen then called me back and said no again. She was very nice about it but I am still left fixing there defect with silicone or something. So thanks for nothing fox run. fox run is the name of the company that makes these kitchen art items. Still a great concept which is why they got 2 stars. They just need to learn to put them together better and help there customers more to keep them happy.

This item is used daily in our house. It makes it so easy to dispense spices. Finally a product as good as it's advertising. My only suggestion is that you take the time to tighten the small screw on the bottom before filling. This will eliminate other reviewers complaints about leakage.

Very inventive product. But the qualtiy did not match the price. It was very hard putting two units togeter. Also 4 of the individual spice containers where coming apart. Then one container leaked out the spice that was put in. Emailed Amazon about the problem - would have to return the two units ordered when I already had loaded up most of the spices and printed labels for them. Called the mfg. and they could not just replace the bad containers. So had to use glue. Disappointing.

Very dissatisfied with this product. The main problem is that the containers leak horribly with anything powdered. Cinnamon and Paprika were the worst in my containers. If you shake the container over food without opening it, you can easily apply a good amount of spice. That's a problem. The plastic is really cheap feeling. It feels like you could break the containers into 5 pieces if you squeezed it too hard. I initially mounted the rack under my counter, but it was hanging at least an inch lower on one side because of the cheap warped plastic. This product is a great idea, but absolutely horrible delivery. The auto-mesures don't work for larger spices, and the smaller ones leak. Tightening the bottom screw will NOT solve the leak problem. Mine are leaking from all seams, and not just a small amount.

I thought this item would be great to organize my kitchen spices, but it has broken on me twice now. The "window" and face plate of the spice shakers have fallen off while being taken out of the carousel. Easily fixed with gorilla glue but is very frustrating when my spices end up on the floor. Very cheaply made and of poor quality. Put another 10 dollars into something better.

The negative reviews here said much (if not all) of what I would say.

PROS
- Love the spinning design, mostly efficient use of space
- Looks beautiful, rotates well

CONS
- Cheap, crappy plastic
- NOT airtight, spices will leak
- In hot, humid weather, you run the risk of your spices solidifying. I lost a full thing of garlic powder and onion powder to this unit, once those powders solidify, they're never the same

This item would be perfect if not for the inattention to detail in the actual design of the containers. I'll be switching back to something sealed sealed.

The KitchenArt Pro Auto-Measure Spice Carousel is a worthless piece of trash. I put my spices in it and with days they were as hard as a rock. I could not get most of them out. The product is cheaply made, does not keep moisture or humidity from your expensive spices. The plastic window on the front pops off, at least it did on three of mine. If it were possible, I would give it less then the 1 star it got. I ended up tossing it and a lot of expensive spices in the trash. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF TRASH.

I was very excited to order this item at first, I live in a small apt and kitchen space is limited. First of all the plastic is very flimsy and comes apart instantly when removing the lid to place the spices in. Because of the poor construction the spices leak out. Ive actually had to place tape around some of the canesters to even get them to stay together. Secondly the main reason I purchased this item was because it could be mounted under a cabinet, the screws provided are very dull and wouldn't even go through drywall so I had to buy new hardware. Getting the screws into the part that connects the cabinet to the carousel is an almost impossible task, even my husband had problems with it. Between the 2 of us it took almost 40mins to get 3 screws put in. All unalloyed I was extremely disappointed in this product and recommend you save both your time and money by not ordering it
