I have never owned a full-size food processor, so I don't have any comparisons to make; but I am really pleased with my purchase of this one. It is very quiet and does a wonderful job, with very easy cleanup. It is a little heavy, so I decided it better just to leave it out on the counter - and it looks nice there. I think the best thing I like about this machine is that it is so user-friendly. Just a quick look at the instruction book, and it was ready to use, even for a novice like me.

This is a great product! I purchased it for my wife and she uses this thing to death. The control surface looks great, the unit is quiet, easy to clean and handles most kitchen tasks of this type with ease. My wife swears by her KitchenAid products. They all look great, and work even better.
