Just had this for lunch right now and it was delicious! Very tasteful and goes PERFECTLY over rice. Specifically the KOI Kashmiri Basmati rice! The portions are perfect as well when mixing the two.It was very tasty and quite filling too. This is probably my current favorite KOI meal. I've tried the rajma masala, dal bukara, pindi chana, and palak paneer. My second favorite would have to be the pindi chana. The rajma is OK but I don't prefer the flavor as much. The palak paneer is a little bland but oddly spicy. And the dal bukara is quite salty.

The spices in this product have a wonderful fragrance that wafts up at you when you open the package. It is also very convenient. Downsides are that it is very salty, and the vegetables are, well, canned vegetables -- what more can I say?

This curry is mild to medium-hot, and not real thick (not really watery, just not thick). The vegetables are mashed to almost smooth. It's very good to pour over rice or as a topping for meat. I bought it to take to work for a quick lunch, and it suits. The only drawback is the packaging. The inner pouch isn't microwaveable, so the product must be squeezed out into a bowl before heating (it tends to cling to the pouch a little, too).

This product is east to prepare, but it's very bland and flavorless. It doesn't taste like any Indian food that I have had, it's missing the spices and the "kick". I tried adding my own ingredients to it (chicken, vegetables, spices) but it just diluted the flavor even more.

I usually don't like curry but I like the taste of this one. It is easy to make. You can put the curry in a pan to heat it up, then mix in some rice. Made with real ingredients.

Very good over rice (I used Jasmati) ... got it on sale and liked it better than the Palak Paneer (also good). Have no idea how this is meant to taste or how it holds up to the real thing.By the last package I was experimenting with adding: Lemon Juice Sriracha Pepper (some salt) Worcestershire Sauce (optional) and Chunk Light Tuna! Divine.

This Indian dish is delicious! I am a big fan of this brand of indian food. This one is one of my favorites. It is delicious and can easily be stretched to feed more people. The texture out of the package is almost mashed potato-like, so adding a little chicken broth or milk doesn't make it too soupy--as long as you like to eat it as a sauce. The other day I made this adding milk and garbanzo beans from a can. The garbanzo beans made it very filling, and it was so easy! Love it!Other favorites from this brand are the Palak paneer or "spinach with cottage cheese" (Just so you know, it is not cottage cheese; I think they just didn't know what to call their paneer cheese), their chick pea curry, and the Chicken makhani paste. Lastly, both times I have ordered these on Amazon, it has been during a deal of some sort, so, if you can watch for a deal before making your bulk purchases, it could save you a bunch.

I bought a bunch of the Kitchens of India items during a promotional sale and the only one I'd recommend is the butter chicken sauce. If they were tasty I could overlook the salt content for the occasional enjoyment but I'm not loving the taste. I ofter buy similar products from Trader Joes and those, in my opinion, are much better and cost far less.
