This book is a reprint of a 1929 publication. As such, some of the construction techniques, particularly the making of glue and paste, will be "unexpectedly practical" for many modern readers.
These kite designs work as well today as they did in 1929. Substituting modern materials like Tyvek house wrap and packing tape make these designs stronger and quite a bit easier to build. This is a good activity book for parents and children. |
