4.0 out of 5 stars Cats loved it right from the start
After putting up the kitty walk my clawed 15 lb cats (2) loved it. I would never allow them to be in the kitty walk unattended..but it is so nice to see them sniffing and enjoying the fresh air. They tried to push their face through the netting but they did not succeed and netting is in fine shape.
Worked great for me and I am buying 2 more so they can run even...

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money!
Three years ago I purchased two Kittywalk outdoor cat runs. To make a long story short, within less than a minute one cat had pushed his face right through it and within one hour the Kittywalk had several holes in it (my cats are declawed). The netting is extremely flimsy and no match for any determined cat. I would never purchase or advise anyone to purchase a...

Worked great for me and I am buying 2 more so they can run even longer distance and have more room for fun.
Very happy with kitty walk.

5.0 out of 5 stars Our cat loves this thing..... and so do we, May 8, 2007

This is the best thing we bought for our cat to let him be outside while we have the peace of mind that he is safe.

Our cat loves the outdoors since that's where he came from. We adopted him from the streets about 5 years ago. He is always begging to go outside, but we don't have the time to be out there and watch him. We used to attach a long leash to his harness and stake it down so he had freedom to roam around. The bad thing about that is that we had to constantly watch him because he would escape from this setup easily. Safety is our number one concern.

The Kittywalk Outdoor Cat Run solves all of our problems. It spans about 10 feet and uses secure netting all around to enclose kitty. Because there is netting on the bottom, he is able to feel and eat the grass. To secure the Cat Run in place, you just stake each section into the grass. There are 2 entry points that use secure clips to lock the gates in place. It is easy for humans, not cats, to open and close the locks. The Cat Run is easy to setup and take down also, although I leave it outside since it can stand the rain. This way we could let kitty out everyday without the hassle of setting it up and taking it down. I think I might get tired of it if I had to set it up and take it down everyday.

I bought 2 of these from overstock for about half the price (49.99). They can be connected together so now kitty has 20 feet to roam in. We're probably going to buy more Kittywalk setups so that we can provide more of a variety for our cat. I totally recommend this product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, March 11, 2007

I purchased this from overstock.com last year and my cats love it. Initially, they tried to push their faces against it and one even tried to turn the lock to get out. Now they run outside and go right into it. I put a towel over it for shade on hot sunny days. I just purchased another since adopting a third cat so they can have longer runs. I leave them for short times unattended, but always check on them. It's nice to give house cats a breath of fresh air. Would recommend it. Made well, easy to put up and take down. Weather resistant. Wish the add ons were more reasonably priced.

4.0 out of 5 stars No problems here, May 10, 2006
This is made of fine quality netting. My cat cannot get out of this. The only drawback is that it isn't that long and it is expensive. I have left Mr. Pelo unattended in it. He does push his face against the netting, but he can't get out. The ends are secured nicely. I would recommend this product.

My cat, Charlie, who weighs 14 lbs and has all his claws, loves his new run. We live with lots of wildlife around us. Charlie does not run free, he has a leash but I couldn't garden and watch him. All that is now solved. He spends hours inside his house watching the birds feeding and the chipmunks running, playing, and stuffing their mouths with sunflower seeds. I am free to do my gardening and he is more than content. It is easy to set up and take down everyday,I do not want my night wildlife the deer and a raccoon to destroy it. He is not trying to get out or rip the netting. Being outside for so many hours has made him a happier cat. The wildlife is safe and so is my cat, perfect solution.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kittywalk Lawn Version, September 28, 2008

This product is wonderful and my cat(Spice) absolutley loves it. I will not let my cat run free and this gives her an opportunity to be outside. The birds, squirrels and ducks who frequent our yard for feeding are now used to seeing Spice in her Kittywalk and will now feed quite close to her without any fear of her. She just loves watching and "stalking" them. When it's time to go outside she runs right into it. The only problem is that she does not want to come out of it when it's time to come in. One big plus to this item is that you can easily move it from place to place in the yard very easily.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally! what a great idea!, August 1, 2010

I am so glad this Kittywalk is available. My cats love it! I have never had indoor cats but in this neighborhood it's a must. Every time I go outside my cats beg at the door to go in the kittywalk! They love to feel the grass on their feet (and eat it, too) and are happy to sit out there for hours. I have one of three cats that will push his face against it to see if he can get out be he can not.The other two don't even try. My goal is to save my money and buy the other tunnels that can be connected to it. To the manufacturers, I would love to connect the kittywalk to my doggie door!
By the way, in all the photos and descripton it was unclear whether this lawn version actually has net on the bottom/floor---- yes it does! And the stakes go down at least 8 or 10 inches into the ground, very sturdy.

1.0 out of 5 stars "You are not our customer, so well will not talk to you", August 25, 2009
This review is from: Kittywalk Outdoor Net Cat Enclosure for Lawns (Misc.)
This is what I was told when I tried to return my Kittywalk Cozy Cabin. I ordered the carrier from Pet Solutions (vendor). Instead of arriving in 7-10 days, it took over 2 weeks (too late for my trip.) Pet Solutions had me send carrier back to kittywalk (at my expense). Kittywalk was to notify the vendor when the package arrived and then I would get my refund. Kittywalk was notified of the plan (by me.) I was informed of a 25% restocking fee. I explained that I was returning the item for poor service and that I should not have to pay a fee. The employee on the phone said that they would waive the fee. Package arrived at kittywalk on 7/28, but by 8/25, I still had not received a refund. When I called Kittywalk, they informed me that they do not issue refunds daily (but it had been a month.) They called me back (same day) and told me they had issued the refund to Pet Solutions, minus the 25% restocking fee. I reminded her that this was supposed to be waived. She denied saying this, of course. I asked to speak to the boss, and he simply said that I was not their customer and that he would not talk to me. They lied to Pet Solutions, telling them I agreed to pay the fee. I have never been treated so rudely. Pet Solutions was quite passive. I had to do all of the leg work with no real help from them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy, October 24, 2011

If you have squirrels or other wildlife in your yard do not buy this product. Squirrels very quickly chew holes in the netting and your cats will escape. I've learned from experience.
