5.0 out of 5 stars A very nice gift set, August 22, 2007

I was a little nervous about buying this because it had no user reviews. I should of known I would have nothing to worry about. This is a wonderful gift set at a price that's impossible to beat. The onesie is nice, thick 100% organic cotton with a brightly printed lizard graphic on the front. The seams are nice and strong.

The included rattle is heirloom quality and has bright primary colors - great for baby.

Where else can you find such an earth-friendly gift set for your baby, at this price? The rattle alone is worth $8.50 from the manufacturer's company website.

The only thing worth noting is that cotton part of the onesie is slightly more yellow than it appears in the photo. In the photo it appears more white than it really is. If you're used to organic cotton, you'd probably already be expecting this, but I just thought I should mention it.

The temporary sale price (under $10) and quality of these items makes it a great buy. I've purchased 3 onesies from this company and love them all.

5.0 out of 5 stars great price!, July 16, 2007

I purchased some of the to give as gifts because of the great price. The organic cotton is soft, but it is not bleach white like it looks in the picture. Since it is unbleached organic cotton it has a more "off white" natural color. The deer pattern is really unique, since most baby clothes feature bears, ducks, bunnies or puppies. The multi-lingual aspect of the onesie is really cool. The wooden rattle is a nice piece, too.

4.0 out of 5 stars Adorable set!, March 10, 2008

Very cute oatmeal colored onesie and colorful wooden rattle. Rattle will be virtually useless for infants, though, as there is nowhere for the child to hold on to it that would still allow the beads to move back and forth. Also, it is very hard (wood) and not something a person would typically hand to a child who lacks the motor skills to shake it anyway.

The onesie's snaps are not as well reinforced as are most of the commercially available brand onesie's are, but, by taking the time to unsnap them instead of pulling the fabric apart should avoid any tearing.

All in all, this product has held up well in the wash (no fading on the graphic after numerous washer and dryer cycles), is soft and comfortable and oh so cute. The rattle is cute, but, not necessarily functional.

4.0 out of 5 stars Baby hasn't arrived., September 26, 2007
Our little one has not arrived yet, but the quality of material and the quality of rattle is wonderful. I can't wait to be able to put the onsie on the baby and I am so excited to see how much the baby enjoys the rattle. The only thing that i worry about is the size of the rattle. I am not quite sure how well it will fit in a baby's hand, and the actual parts that make the noise within the rattle are where the child will have their hand. I am not sure that it will work that well, but for the price the Onsie was great and the rattle was an added bonus.

I love this because it is different from the run of the mill baby clothing. It is nice and I can't wait to give it as a gift to my nephew. The toy is cute too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great gift value!, July 16, 2007

I ordered a bunch of these onesie and rattle sets to give as baby gifts. The shirts are soft organic cotton. They are not bleach white, however, as they appear in the picture. They are slightly "off-white" as unbleached organic cotton should be. The multi-lingual aspect to the shirt is really cool, especially if the baby has older siblings who could enjoy learning from the baby's shirt. The wodden rattle is also a nice timeless piece. I ordered the monkey shirt for boys, the Kiwi Industries Organic Cotton Onesie And Rattle Gift Set, Butterfly, 3-6 Mos shirt for girls, and the Kiwi Industries Organic Cotton Onesie And Rattle Gift Set, Deer, 3-6 Mosshirt as a shower gift for parents who chose to wait until birth to know the sex of their baby.
