I took my chance ordering this product even though reviews here said it wasn't shipped properly. The company must have corrected their mistake. I have nothing but praises. I am very familiar with Klaire products - the best probiotics out there, especially for people and children with allergies and food sensitivities. I ordered these infant probiotics on a Thursday and they arrived with a cold pack that was still frozen on the following Monday.

My daughter has been taking this probiotic for just over two months and I can already tell it is helping her. She has some digestive issues and I think this will help her body heal itself. Really like this product so far and would highly recommend it. As with any probiotic it just takes time to work, it's not an instant fix but what is that really works. Just give it time. This would be great for reflux and other digestive issues. Also this product is dairy free, which I have been looking for a long time. My daughter is sensitive to dairy products and most infant probiotics have dairy in them. So this is a huge plus and is made just for you baby's digestive system.

I've ordered this product from the company that manufactures it and they make you pay extra to ship it in a cool pack, because it should be kept refrigerated (which it says on the bottle). I'm an avid Amazon fan, so was thrilled to find it here. It came in a regular box, at room temperature. I returned it. Why spend that much to have it lose potency in shipping and very likely storage in the warehouse? Went back to ordering directly from Klaire Labs.

I contacted Blue Sky, the shipper of this product, on August 4, 2014, to ask if they ship with a cold pack. They said that they DO ship with a cold pack in a thermal envelope. If you want it shipped in a cooler, that costs extra. They also noted:

"Here's some additional information from the manufacturer regarding the shipping & handling of [Klaire] probiotics:

“We at Klaire Labs conduct real-time stability studies on all our probiotic products to assess their long-term viability at both refrigerated and room temperatures.
> Data we’ve obtained from independent laboratory tests indicate our products maintain a relatively high degree of stability at room temperature for up to five months and then gradually begin to lose potency. This suggests that while our probiotics require refrigeration to maintain viability over time, they do not quickly die off at unrefrigerated temperatures.
> Products may be taken out of the refrigerator for weeks or even months without a significant loss of viable organisms.
> Products shipped to customers with cold packs also retain excellent viability even if the cold packs are thawed and the product no longer feels cold to the touch at the time of arrival. To further ensure the potency of our products, we routinely formulate with “overages” so that even small losses of activity that may occur during shipping, handling, and storage are insignificant.”

Please note this, especially those people who say they had to throw the product out because the cold pack was warm.

I have found that Blueskyvitamin is the best place to buy this amazing probiotic. They have free 3-day shipping available for orders over $25, and they almost always have a discount running.

The probiotic itself is amazing. If I run out, I notice my daughters (age 4 months and 15 months) get sick, almost immediately. When they're on the probiotic they almost NEVER GET SICK.

Again, AWESOME PROBIOTIC!!!

I am not a Dr. so don't take my advice but I think these Pro-Biotics are worth every penny!
During the course of my toddler having some digestive/gut issues I have done more research than my heart and mind can handle. Two of the most valuable things I have run across thus far are:
-Klaire labs Pro-Biotics
-Klaire Labs Digestive Enzymes.

No matter what any Medical Dr. says, we already know that 70-80% of immunity comes from gut/health. I think in the coming years they are only going to expand on this fact more and more and find that a lot more disease is determined by good or bad gut health.
Studies have shown that upwards of 85% of Americans have poor gut health. Due to the use of antibiotics. Prescription and in our food. ((and who really knows what the Genetically Modified Foods are doing to our bodies)) Fact is all of us should be on a pro-biotic. We need good bacteria to keep the bad ones at bay. Over growth of bad bacteria can lead to many problems in the body. It can take more than a year to restore the body's good bacteria after a round of antibiotics or surgery.

Babies/Pro-biotics:
I always thought my daughter just had a "TUMMY"!! like a REAL TUMMY! But after seeing a chiropractor (whom we have now grown to love) she pointed out that her tummy wasn't supposed to look like that. There is a difference between a baby belly and a bloated belly! your baby's belly shouldn't be hard and gassy and sound like a drum all the time. And it shouldn't be big when the rest of their body is fairly thin. Pro-biotics can help with this. Newborns can and should take them. They can get them through breastmilk but they can also take them on their own. I wish I would have know this when my daughter was a newborn.
