After getting back from watching Marc-Andre Hamelin play Totentanz with the Seattle Symphony I was so impressed with his performance that I order this piece first as the MP3 download and also the CD. Nothing can compare to a live performance no matter how great your sound system is, but having seen the live performance I can experience it all again with this recording. I love Totentanz and Marc-Andre nails it. If this doesn't get your blood up, nothing will.
