I got this kit over 10 yrs ago and it has never failed. Each rod is almost 7" long so for any of your longer barrels this might be a little short. There is a 2" end piece that your brushes attach to so you can use the handle and that for your pistols. Then when you are cleaning your rifles add the other rods then attach the "end" piece and you're good to go. Total length is 30"+brush. A great bonus is that it's "Made in U.S.A."
