It holds up vary well to sharp and pointed objects and the leather like bottom keeps water and moister out if sat on wet ground (or literally in a shallow puddle). The plastic feet won't scratch semi finished wood floors so I don't usually have to worry about where I sit it (will scuff paint!!!). It's breathable so if your bag does get wet it will at least dry out a little. It has a satchel type configuration with steel all around the top witch makes opening all the way easy and fast (large things have a tendency to want to get hung up). It has a semi rigid bottom that provided you don't load it down will stay flat and stiff. The handles are made out of nice and strong leather (a little mineral oil on them and the straps makes them good and soft and darkens them to match the bottom).

Vary nice and durable bag. I used mine for years and had many heavy sharp edged things in it and aside from looking a little rough and dirty was still as good as the day I bought it.

Price: I have seen them as low as about $27 at home depot and lows and even lower at electrical supply houses.

Size: not much room for anything bigger than a hack saw or large cordless drill and bits. This is a good size to place all your one foot or less hand tools. With a few 5139 zip bags to keep your stuff separate, it makes a nice package.

I use this bag to store and carry electrical tools, it has great heavy duty leather handles and is made of tough canvas so it won't fall apart. Great Bag from Klein tools.
