First of all, I love this bag. I use it to hold toiletries and items like that which it really is perfect for.

IN ORDER TO FIX THE ZIPPER AND MAKE IT SMOOTHER: Simply rub a little dry bar soap on it, and it'll work way better. My Dad taught me this. A lifesaver trick.

My husband loves these zipper bags. His buddy, who is a Master Electrician, swears by them. They hold just the right amount of tools for projects around the house, but without the bulk or weight of a toolbox. They are very sturdy, and anything that helps my husband to organize his vast collection of tools is good for me, too.

This bag is great for holding anything heavy. It is made of tough material that withstands against rough handling.

Many of the others reviews already speak to the quality of this item but I will briefly reiterate that this thing is stout! The zipper, while admittedly a little rough to operate, is all metal and very, very heavy duty. I take that as a trade off for smoothness and I'm fine with that. As most will know already, it will wear in and be easier to use with time. The pull they give you with it is helpful to increase the leverage, and I'm grateful to have it because otherwise I think it would be a workout. Still, not a negative, I like that it's so well built.

Secondly, the canvas itself is extremely strong. I don't see it being punctured by a screwdriver or other sharp objects you might store inside, which is definitely a selling point if you want to avoid injuring yourself or losing tools after something punches a hole. Avoid the cheap knock offs and get something like this and you'll never have that problem.

A third point I want to make, which at this writing I don't see in other reviews, is that this product is 100% American-made! That's right, made in the USA. Not everything from Klein is these days, but this bag is still home grown. For me, at least, that's a major selling point, especially since I try to avoid import tools for anything other than consumables. It gives me a small sense of pride knowing my dollars are still supporting a US-made product. Not sure if it matters to everyone reading these reviews, but on the off chance that it motives anyone, I'm tossing it out there.

In summary, these are excellent, high grade and extremely stout bags for the money. They're US-made and the quality level is what you should expect from Klein, right up there with other premium brands, perhaps even better. This bag will probably outlive whoever you give it to, they're just that good. Highly recommended and definitely something I will buy again if I need another.

This bag fits your basic hand tools to make small repairs. Its the perfect size. It is strong enough that a screw driver doesn't poke through its canvas. When its filled with tools its not bulky or hard to carry. Its great for keeping the hand tools you use most, organized.

It is durable, the zipper is reasonably smooth for a brass one (and likely to get even smoother with age) and this bag looks to be on its way to a long life carrying around my tools. I am in IT and I use it to carry screw drivers, knives, pliers and such... pretty much anything and everything. Great material... softish but durable.

Goes to and from work with me everyday... I would buy it again for sure.

As many have noted, the zipper is astounding stiff at the beginning. In fact, it was so tight that I kept looking at it thinking it was jammed. Once I was able to run it back and forth a few times, it loosened up a good deal. Once I put some paste wax on it (dry bar soap works too) it was much smoother.

I think this stiffness may be done on purpose. I put my expensive set of Klein nut drivers in the bag, and if it came unzipped and they all fell out, I was be none too happy. I imagine the stiffness is to stop that from happening.

Good size, good construction, what's not to like?

Good single-ply canvas bag, just a fold on the bottom and sewn on the sides. I use this to carry emergency tools in my car.

I also was initially disappointed with the zipper -- it wouldn't move at all. I sprayed some Tri-Flow into a rag and ran the rag along both sides of the zipper, and it instantly became perfect.

This an awesome little bag. I use it for my Gun tools or for amo. Good heavey construction expect to have it for many years to come. Liked the first one so much bought two more.

I'm disappointed in this canvas bag. The zipper doesn't run smooth on it. I think Klein knows what a problem this is because they include a nylon pull on the zipper to give you better leverage. A much better Klein bag in the same price range is their Cordura ballistic nylon one. Essentially the same price, a more sturdy bag, and far better fit and finish.
