This review is from: Klein Tool 650 Cushion-Grip Scratch Awl with 3-1/2 Inch Shank (Tools & Home Improvement)
Okay, so this is a pretty basic tool but this is the best iteration I have ever had. It really is easy to underestimate the usefulness of an awl, but when you need it you will be glad to have this one. The tip is very sharp and I can imagine that this will last a very long time. Such a basic tool, but a necessity for any respectable toolbag. Some people don't know this, but klein tools with these such handles have something to identify it on top. The nut drivers have the size on them and also an M if they are magnetic. This has the model number of 650 on it so you could easily distinguish this from other klein tools in your bag, box, or pouch.

Great quality scratch awl. Works great for scribing sheet metal or puncturing holes in copper tubing. Has many uses, if you are in the market for a scratch awl, you won't be disappointed.

There's really not much to say about this product being that it is a simple tool.. However, it's by far the nicest iteration of an awl that I have ever used.. It's got a good solid weight to it and it's very symmetrical in it's tapper. The grip is good and it has lasted me for a few months now no problem. Definitely worth the little extra that it costs over inferior quality products. I'll be looking more into Klein tools for future purchases because I like what I've seen thus far.
