It opens Klein bottles! What more can I say?

At first, I had no idea how it was going to open a bottle that doesn't even HAVE an "inside". But let me tell you, this thing sure did the trick!

This is what happens when a company that knows a thing or two about making quality hand tools decides to build a professional version of something that is, ordinarily, low-quality and easily misplaced.

And, they did a masterful job. Not only is it the single best-feeling bottle opener I've ever seen or used, I seriously doubt that I'm ever going to want to use a lesser implement again. Additionally, Klien did a nice job with the packaging and applied the correct amount of tounge and cheek to the features and applications of this product.

If you enjoy beverages and tools, this product is for you.

This tool is not only hysterically ironic but unbelievably functional. It pops the top of a beer quickly easily the first time leaving a satisfying crisp crease dead center in the cap. There's no feeling that it's going to slip off the cap or bend or take two tries at all. They did their homework on this one.

The steel is very stiff. It is made with the same quality as all Klien products. I especially like the beer cap symbol on the butt of the handle for easy location in my tool belt! ;-)

i have owned this great bottle opener for over two years and have given many as gifts. use for soda pops? i think not. this is strictly for barley pops!

This is an excellent product! First and foremost, it's a FANTASTIC bottle opener. Definitely the best I've ever used. It works every time, and you never end up with partially dented, seal-broken-but-still-attached caps. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it leaves a satisfying crease down the middle of the cap, and removes caps completely and consistently. It has a very solid feel - no flexing, it securely engages the cap, and the handle is nice and thick with a comfortably cushioned grip. It should last a lifetime - mine has been used for several months, and I don't even see any signs of wear. Unless you need a small, low-profile pocket opener, you can't do any better than this Klein opener.

And that's before even mentioning the classy tool styling and clever packaging! Any "tool guy" (or girl) would without a doubt love to receive one of these as a gift. If that gift recipient is anything like me, they'll display this opener proudly in their home! It would work especially well as a matched set with Klein's grill tools or any of their (also excellent) screwdrivers... (May I suggest the 10-in-1?)

I give this a solid 5 stars as a bottle opener, and another 5 stars as a clever gift/tool-styled accessory. Highly recommended!

Despite the fact that I prefer short palm-centered bottle openers this one is pretty high on my list of favorites, primarily because its so well-made.

OK, it's expensive for just one function: to remove beer (and other) bottle caps. Built exactly the same as their screwdrives and nutdrivers this is one industrial strength bottle cap remover.

I've bought a few of these for myself and as gifts for some friends that can appreciate real tools. The only way this tool will fail you is if you loose it.

This is one tool that needs to be in the home of any serious tradesman. A great gift. Well made. Hilarious and authentic.
