Much higher quality than cheaper cutting pliers. Short jaw hinged for maximum leverage makes for easy cutting. Long, thick handles make it easy on the hands even when cutting thick wire. Keep coated in oil to prevent the hardened steel from rusting and they will last a very long time - well worth the money.

I,m an electrician and have used my last pair for 3 years. They work better than any other brand I have used.

My diagonal cutting pliers ("dikes") prior to owning these were seldom used because they could barely cut through anything substantial like a 10D nail. My Craftsman and Stanley cutters would get nicks in the blades from cutting steel wire or nails, turning them into junk. But these Klein "high-leverage" cutters are like tool perfection. Had them for a few years of cutting all kinds of soft and hard wire, metal bands, tie wraps, you name it - and the blades are still sharp as new. Probably will be the last pair of diagonal cutters I'll ever need to buy unless they get lost or stolen. Well worth the price.

I have always found Klein pliers to be the best around. These are very sturdy cutters, very high leverage. Mine do have one flaw in which the cutting edges of the blades over lap. They still work fine but that is not how they should be.
