This album is one of the best examples of how innovative and creative can be drawing from the treasures of traditional Yiddish and Klezmer music. Tracks recorded in the first decades of the twentieth century are brought to new life by smooth arrangements that are at the same time sophisticated and enjoyable and mingle naturally with a few original tracks by the BOW. The ensemble is absolute top level. A great album also if you wish to have a first acquaintance with klezmer music.
