I ordered a pair of these speakers to replace a pair of Krell 'rock speakers.' I used the Krell speakers for five years and noticed sound quality was poor and distorted this season. The speakers are located adjacent to the house near my pool. They are somewhat protected from the elements in that they are under the eaves of my home. The Klipsch speakers seem well made and size appropriate, but are lighter in weight and slightly larger in size than the Krell speakers. The sound quality is good except I would like more bass. The speakers are optimally positioned at the inside corners of my brick home. Other than inadequate bass, volume is excellent, without distortion, and more than adequate for entertaining during noisy parties.

this rock speakers are awesome. The sound quality of this outdoor Klipsch is outstanding. First I was not so certain about this small speaker will produce the sound quality I expected, but when I got it and tested it, I dediced to buy another one to pair it up in the backyard.
You will love it, the treble and bass are outstanding. Two thumbs up Klipsch.
