I recently bought one of these because I'm a long time user and fan of the JAMO products and decided to give it a try for this one. The product is small and light and have a very good sound quality! The con for me is that the product is designed only for IPOD (and not for IPHONE) so it will not charge my IPHONE 3GS. But for the price I'm more than happy!

PROS:
- Sound quality: comparable to any other top brand
- Price: great cost-benefit if bellow $70 (other brands could cost $200 with the same quality)

CONS:
- Don't charge the IPHONE while playing.

And at least for me no complains about the remote control.

Sound is adequate and that's the best I can say about this item.

Remote only works if your within 3 feet and pointing "directly" at the speaker unit.
No power or audio controls other than remote (hope the battery doesn't go dead or you lose it).

Doesn't charge the ipod Touch.

This would have been a good buy if it was $20.

This little unit has excellent sound quality with crisp mids and slightly bright highs, just the way i like it. No low end at all, but love the fact it has a subwoofer output to make up for lack of bass. Unfortunately, the sound quality (and maybe it's good looks) is really the only positive about this unit. The remote stinks even at close range, and works only after several button pushes if at all. The biggest downfall other than the crappy remote is the fact that is doesn't charge any ipod touch 2nd gen or newer. i bought my ipod touch 2nd gen back in 2008, so you would expect this ipod dock to easily charge it......but nope. it will not charge iphones either, so unless you can live with the fact that it will play your ipod/iphone but not charge it or allow you to navigate your ipod/iphone completely, then pass on this unit for sure. i have jamo speakers in one of my home theater setups and they are fantastic. this little ipod dock has excellent sound quality just like my bigger jamo speakers, but i returned it after a week as the sound quality and handy sub output were just not enough to overcome the horrible remote and lack of charging with my ipod touch 2nd gen. sound quality alone on this unit is a 4 to 5 for sure, but with the variety of cheap ipod speaker dock options today this unit rates only average overall based on its other shortcomings. great sound and good looks, but that is about it. pass on this unit if you have a newer ipod.

The Jamo I200 is a quality dock system. It has a sleek design and has very clean sound. The only problem I had with the product is the range of the remote. To operate the system, using the remote, you have to be within a few feet of the sensor, aiming directly at it. Over all, I really liked the product, despite the remote. I would recommend it, especially at it's price.
