Since their arrival, the compact, stylish and versatile Cinema 8 and Cinema 10 home theater systems have been flying off of store shelves. To build on this success, Klipsch is taking things a step further with an even smaller and more affordable setup - the Cinema 6. Because the Cinema 6 applies the same technology and design principles as its slightly larger counterparts, this new system will also deliver the unique Klipsch sound that make these lifestyle-oriented systems best-sellers. With four RSX-3 monitors, an RCX-3 center channel, this high-performance and unobtrusive system will fit almost anywhere, in any type of system, in any type of environment. The Cinema 6 may be small, but you'll be completely blown away by its powerful impact and the level of realism it adds to your favorite music and movies.
More compact in size than the popular Cinema 8 and Cinema 10 home theater systems from Klipsch, the Cinema 6 system boasts the same technology and design principles as its larger counterparts but at a more affordable price. This system is made up of four RSX-3 satellites and an RCX-3 center channel. It has an attractive silver vinyl finish with a sculpted front panel and grille adding a stylish, upscale appearance to your home.
The RW-8's 8-inch woofer features a copper-colored Klipsch Cerametallic cone, made of anodized aluminum. The anodizing process converts its inner and outer surface to ceramic. The result is a lightweight, but rigid, well-dampened cone that will not flex or resonate. An uncommonly large motor structure and high-temperature, long-excursion voice coil--enabling it to deliver rich, dynamic bass down to 30Hz--ensure efficient, reliable operation and, in combination with the mechanical characteristics of the cones, remarkably low distortion.
It is powered by a high-efficiency amplifier, capable of 270 watts dynamic power output. The RW-8's low-pass crossover has a steep 24dB/octave slope and is outfitted with continuously variable frequency and phase controls, facilitating smooth integration with the main speakers. Input is two-channel (blended to mono in the crossover) via line-level RCA jacks or speaker-level binding posts.
The RSX-3 and RCX-3 are both two-way, magnetically shielded speakers that employ 3.5-inch aluminum woofers and 0.75-inch titanium-dome compression drivers coupled to Klipsch's new round MicroTractrix Horns for maximum clarity and efficiency. These loudspeakers also feature high-quality network components and top-of-the-line internal wiring. The woofers also use Cerametallic cones and are long-throw units driven by powerful ceramic magnetic motor structures.
Both the RSX-3 and RCX-3 have integrated pedestal stands with ball joints that allow them to be adjusted in almost any direction by using the provided allen wrench. Keyholes are provided on the underside of the stand base for nohassle wall mounting. Grilles magnetically snap into place over the front baffles, while sturdy five-way binding posts ensure secure connection to any type of cable.
