Can't say enough about this great speaker. It replaced a Bose and made me realize what I had been missing. It is very efficient and the clarity is remarkable. Am able to hear more at lower levels without distortion. In it's price range, it's definitely 5 stars.

As with all the speakers of the Klipsch Synergy line, this center channel is just beautiful--grille or not. The sound is fantastic especially if you're using an all digital configuration for high definition sound. I for one do not have a high-dollar receiver--just a mid-range instead. But when I paired my system with this center channel, it just came alive. The amount of sound produced was immense and the quality of the audio was crystal clear.

I highly recommend that if you are to purchase this center channel that you do two things--you use it as part of a total Klipsch Synergy system. These speakers are made to work in perfect harmony together. Second, you must take advantage of the bi-wiring feature of this speaker. Being able to separate high frequencies from the low and have them distributed independently to tweeter and woofer is a definite plus with this product (don't forget to remove the brass-plate connector underneath the binding posts).

This speaker has a crystal-clear sound and is definitely loud! I am adding to my collection of speakers, and this speaker has yet to disappoint! I was nervous about ordering online, but this speaker came well-packaged and without a scratch.

I had just purchased a Sony 110 watt receiver and connected it to my existing 5:1 surround system. Sounded pretty good but not as good as I expected. Spent some time debating whether I would go for a new set of speakers or start with a new center channel speaker only. I finally settled on the Klipsch C-2 and it sure did the trick. This speaker will exceed your expectations with quality sound and a very affordable price.

wanted to see if there was a difference with the c-2 against the smaller c-1 center. the c-2 is louder and bolder than the c-1. i hear the voices better than the c-1. nothing wrong with the c-1, just wanted something alittle more. it is difinitly bigger than the c-1, so make sure you have enough room wherever you put it. i may use the c-1 for a rear center channel since i have a 6 channel reciever. was worth the extra money.

Note this is an "older" model of the klipsch c-20. They added a zero on the model name and doubled the price. When I saw that I JUMPED on this old model before it's price went up too. I knew even if I didn't want or like it (to compliment some klipsh b-2's that went from a $125 goldbox deal {june 9, 2010) to $280 b-20's Klipsch Synergy B-20 Premium 5.25-Inch Bookshelf Speakers (Pair)overnight)

So what are you missing by getting this older model? As far as I can tell they are identical. Klipsh made a strong showing with the B-2 and C-2 synergy systems and once it got a following they upped the price to reflect their true value. So if you can find a great deal on the "old" model I say go for it.

NOTE: these speakers sounded like crap till they were broken in. I used a freeware computer program to generate a bass sine wave above or at the resonant frequency and drove them hard for an hour and then played program music at near max volume while I was gone at work. I used to think breaking in speakers was a farce but trust me at least for these it works.

I bought this speaker a good price. The build and packaging are excellent. The performance is good. Sometime was disappointed because it sounded like it is trap in a box. I had to paired it with two BIC (DV5-B) to make the sound better.

I am very pleased with the sound it delivers. You don't have to crank the volume up to listen to the details and delicate sounds in music or movies. I am very happy, it is a great complement to my Klipsch B2s.

This speaker shines with everything I've thrown at it. A speaker this price with bi-wire capability is hard to find. Bi-wire is deffinately the way to go with this speaker. I ran it both ways. Bi-wiring cleans up everything going into it.
If you don't bi-wire, make sure the bridges are TIGHT. If you lose the bridge you'll think you're listening to a shoe box. I think this may be the issue with another reviewer of this product.
If you don't bi-wire, leave the bridges ON. If you do bi-wire (which is simple), take them off. There is no documentation in the box explaining this. Just do a search on bi-wiring speakers if you're not sure.
I matched this with Synergy SF-2s in the front (Synergy in back) and the sound stage is fine. I'm happy.
For the price, this is a nobrainer.

Very nice speakers for the money. I've been using Klipsch speakers for quite a few years now, and have always been satisfied. Replaced a Infinity center channel speaker which used the same wattage and also 8 ohms, and definitely can hear a difference. Would definitely purchase again!
