I have been looking for surround sound speakers to complete my 5.1 channel home theater system. Finally I have found what I was looking for. As usual Klipsch delivers again.

Some features to note -

My surround sound system is Perfect now!!!

What can you say about these speakers except for they are perfect for the price. I actually didn't think that 7.1 would make much of a difference from 5.1, but BOY was I wrong.

Now I am in a sound BUBBLE......lol. The detail that can be heard is great, and because they have horns on both sides of the speaker, sound seems to come from directly behind you if you are sitting in the middle of the two speakers. WOW, I have to tell ya, Klipsch are the speakers for me from this day forward.

Marantz AV9000 surround sound preamp
Marantz MM9000 150Wx5 power amp
Klipsch RB-25 mains speakers (6.5" cerrametalic woofer, 1" titanium dome horn tweeter)
Boston Acoustics VR12 3 way center speaker
Mirage BP150 dual 8" subwoofer
source material is via sp/dif (AC3) from a mythtv/xine/linux system


And now the S-1 Synergy S-1

The klipsch are inaudible -- that is even though I kicked them up 2db from being matched to the rest of my system via the preamp's test tone setup, one never hears anything come from them. What one does hear is an incredible spacious 3D sound field emanating from up front and passing around and to the rears without ever being localized to the speakers. It is precisely how rear speakers should function and they work perfectly at any volume that won't have the other members of my household complaining.

I have been collecting pieces for my 5.1 system and this one sealed the final deal. I am a huge fan of the Klipsch. It absolutely makes you feel like in the middle of the room. You can't beat the sound and beauty. Easy hook-up and powerful surround for my standard size lounge.

These speakers satisfied all needs in completing a home theater setup in a medium-size basement room. Bright, clear sound that you'd expect from Klipsch ... excellent sound dispersal ... easy to mount on a single wall screw or nail. I bought them mainly because they'd fit in the limited space I had for rear surrounds. Despite their small size, they perform beautifully. A great value, too.

The Klipsch S-1 Synergy Surround Speakers are well worth the cost. An excellent deal for someone needing high quality front or surround speakers. A have Bose 301's and they have convinced me to sell those and pick up another pair of these for fronts. The mids and highs are crisp and reflect the quality and craftsmanship from Klipsch. The style is appealing too if you have not been able to research them in store. If your still in doubt, check out the prices everywhere else along with the newer versions of these speakers by Klipsch. The speakers went straight from the Klipsch distribution center to Amazon, and then to me. The price here is better than from the Klipsch website and E-audio stores! Amazon.com is the ultimate E-Store, and you get 100% peace of mind when ordering through them. Free shipping usualy takes 10-14 business days to arrive, but that enhances the savings!

Needed a pair of surrounds for my smaller upstairs home theater set-up. I wanted decent quality without spending a lot, and thought I would try these because of the brand name, horn tweeter and apparent dispersion pattern of the drivers. They have worked great, spacious sound, crisp highs without sounding harsh. Couldn't be happier for the price (spent around $160 with free shipping). Be aware that they do stick out from the wall somewhat with about a 180 degree curve because of the driver configuration - horn points straight at listening position, while the mid-ranges point at opposite 45 degree angles - so measure your space first.

Sounds amazing, and if that's your bottom line, look no further. If you're concerned about looks, look no further. If you're considering small surround speakers, look somewhere else.

BUT, these speakers do sound phenominal. I think that for the price, efficiency and sound... WOW!

I gave these speakers a 4, only because of their large size. I knew what I was buying, but their size still shocked me; as did their sound. :)

Works better than my old Bose 321 system. Worth the money. Would definitely spend the money again for this item.

Bought these speakers for a medium sized room for use as rear surrounds. They are small, but easily meet the need. High quality, good performance at a great price.
