Also, like corn starch, this product is pure white. My preferred dry shampoo spray (Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo) has a little bit of tint added which makes it look less, well, powdery, even after brushing the product out of my hair as directed.
On the plus side, the product works. I used this the day after I washed my hair to extend my shampoo, and it definitely eliminated the appearance of oiliness where I needed it to. Also, to me, this product has a pleasant, but almost undetectable, odor. (I like the undetectable part.) I had to bring the hair up to my nose to smell it so I could note it for this review.Read more ›
The application does take some getting used to. You have to gently squeeze the bottle to disperse the product on your hair. Then, wait a few minutes before brushing the product through your hair.
I love that this product has no harsh chemicals, sulfates, or silicones. There are no mystery ingredients and it also won't cause your hair to become flammable like those aerosol products. The scent is nice and light, not cloying.
I have dark hair but have no issues getting this product to blend.
I have tried so many dry shampoos in the past and this is the only one I will buy now.
The application method that works really well for me is to turn the bottle upside-down, squeeze and pour a small amount into your palm. Then use your fingertips to apply where needed to your roots and message into your scalp. I do this at night and don't brush it out until the morning. This way it really absorbs the oil and doesn't leave a gray cast on my medium brown hair.
This powder lasts SO much longer than aerosol spray. (I use it about every other day.) And with this method, it's not at all messy and I actually find it much easier to apply than the aerosol. It also seems to work better for me--the aerosol leaves more of a residue.
I am sensitive to scents, but this one doesn't bother me at all. Many are overwhelmingly floral, but this just has a fairly light, fresh scent.
Before this dry shampoo, I had to wash my hair every day because it gets oily so quickly. Now I go two days (once in a while even three!) between washes. My hair is healthier and I gain extra time getting ready in the morning! Love it!

I had a bit of difficulty applying this to my hair. It does help with oil production but the bottle does not facilitate easy application.Published 10 days ago by Philbob536990
I thought it was a spray. It's a pump and the pump doesn't work. I have to poor it out in my hands and rub it in.Published 17 days ago by Casey Birkins

This is by far the best dry shampoo I have found. I like the non-aerosol version because sometimes the spray one gets messed up when it is in very cold temperatures. Read morePublished 21 days ago by ljbowman10
