I have a slightly older version of this that I bought about 4 years ago. My rationale was that if it was written in a way that a child could learn, then SURELY I could, too! And I was right. I am a self-taught knitter, thanks to this book. The instructions, photos and projects are great! So good, in fact, that I gave it to a friend so she could learn to knit (which she also did successfully). Now I need another one to give to yet another person who wants to learn.

I completely recommend this book - have fun with it!

Gave this as a gift to someone(13) whom I did not know how she would react. During Christmas chaos went to a quiet corner and was knitting right off the bat. Great instructions and guidelines.

Good book for explaining basic knitting. Comes with needles, thread, crochet hook, etc. Everything you need to start a small project.

This knitting kit had me knitting right away. Within days I had the confidence to begin making things for others. This is such a great tool for those who wish to learn how to knit. Simple and easy instructions.
