The Weather Guard Equipment aluminum single lid saddle box is a strong, lightweight box that mounts across the bed of your pickup, behind the cab and provides easy access for large bulky items. There is a pushbutton on each end which allows access from either the driver of passenger side. The box may be locked of unlocked from one side without bothering with the other. Two keys are provided. The cover pops open with the aid of the exclusive One-Touch latch system and gas shocks. The red pushbutton is your assurance of Weather Guard Equipment quality. The cover features D-shaped weather stripping to seal out dust and weather. Deep reinforcing channels have been formed into the body of the box for strength. The .063-inch diamond plate aluminum is coated with black Armor-Tuf, baked on polyester finish, inside and out, to maintain the shiny black look year after year. The bottom of the box is made from smooth .100-inch aluminum for added strength. Fully arc welded seams on all corners add strength and rigidity. The automotive style rotary latch system assures you of security for your valuable tools and equipment.
