I've read several books about ASL and this is by far the best one, in my opinion. It not only gives visual representations of the signs but also detailed, accurate descriptions. Anyone on any level of learning about sign language will find this book helpful. While portraying the correct version of the sign, the book also lets the reader in on different ways to say the same thing, whether it be just another different sign or a colloquial version. This book is perfect for teaching how to communicate with a native of the deaf community.

I like the way that the photographs are done --- in that they allow you to actually visualize how to sign the letter/number,, etc --- great job
