About the Author

Cheryl Charming  has the knack! Known as the “Martha Stewart” of modern cocktail culture, she is the author of nine books on the subject. She tended bar in the United States and beyond for more than three decades. 

 

Susan Bourgoin is a photographer whose work has appeared in culinary magazines such as Wine News and Bon Appetit, she is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.

Most bartending books allow you to look up recipes by drink names. I think that's really stupid. If you don't know how to make the drink, then you probably don't know what it's called.

This book, however, categorizes drinks by key ingredients and also by seasons and occasions. You have some vodka at home and want to use it in a drink? Easy. Look it up in this book.

By the way, there are free iPhone apps that do the same thing I just described. So, buy this book if you don't have an iPhone. :)
