I bought this book after starting to try and organize my home and discovering that among other things I had enough bandages (stored all over the house) to supply a small clinic. Clearly I needed help. This book is so great that I have been giving it as a gift (because I don't want to loan it to anyone)

Each subject has two well illustrated pages with readable text above the photos and one line "bullets' beneath the photos. Additionally, there are special boxes on many pages with important information. The photographs are great and it is easy to quickly see the type of equipment you might need to buy.

I wish that I had had this book when I had children at home and could never find anything. I found tips on organizing areas that I never knew could be organized.

Last year, I employed the author to help me organize my small one-bedroom apartment. In only a few hours, Emily quickly identified several areas where prime real estate wasn't being taken advantage of, and coached me to clear unnecessary clutter (cardboard boxes!). She also provided helpful tips for affordable organizing tools like shelf expanders, and encouraged me to make simple changes like getting matching hangers so it would be a pleasure to hang up my clothes. What I really appreciated was that she worked with the realities of my life, didn't try to change my lifestyle, and focused on high-impact changes. This book is based on real experience with people who want easy access to often-used items and can't spend all their time organizing and cleaning.

The field of books about home organizing is crowded, and it's not easy to figure out which books are really worth our attention. Emily Wilska's book, in the new Knack series, stands out as comprehensive, beautifully written, and entertaining. She offers tons of decluttering and storage solutions. I dare anyone to read this book and not find practical and elegant ideas in every chapter.

This is a great book that tackles any problems you may have room by room, section by section. It doesn't just address one type of living room, bedroom, bathroom, etc., it gives examples of several different types of those rooms you have have (or want to accomplish) & gives you the tools to accomplish your goals.

This is a great book with beautiful & elegant solutions (she doesn't say you need a plastic storage bin for everything!). I would recommend this book to anyone & everyone!

It's a great organizational tool for anyone who wants to put order in their life. Love that it has a lot of good quality pictures. Makes for easy reading and browsing. Lots of good ideas.
