This text is more valuable than words can express for patients like myself with plans for Bilateral Total Knee Replacement Surgery. I am especially impressed by the numbers and variety of exercises that are clearly and appropriately defined. I will keep this text close to my heart for many years to come!

A great resource for any patient undergoing knee surgery. Well written in an easy to understand style, this book will walk you through a sensible, comprehensive rehab program after surgery.

Any one whose is going to have a knee replacement should read this book before the surgery. Excellent information on how to prepare your self and knee for surgery.

Dr. O'neill offers a comprehensive guide to those experiencing surgery for the first time as well as a thorough rehab and lifelong knee health program. With ever decreasing insurance benefits and high co-pays for therapy, this is a great resource.

I bought this book, along with another Amazon-available book, "Total Knee Replacement and Rehabilitation." This book was a waste of money. It covers all kinds of different knee surgeries, none in any kind of depth. There are a couple of good exercises in the book, but nothing my physical therapist didn't teach me. If you're looking at TKR, buy "Total Knee Replacement and Rehabilitation."

This is a great book. It is very detailed and easy to follow even for someone who is not a healthcare professional. By using the suggestions in this book, it may be possible for some people to avoid surgery or at least delay it by increasing strength, stability, and range of motion of the knee through the suggestions in this book.

This book literally takes you step by step thru the entire process from the initial onset of the injury thru the rehab back to the specific sport you play. It is extremely user friendly and easy to follow. Great buy!

Book: Knee Surgery: The Essential Guide to Total Knee Recovery -- I received this book (written by a doctor) recently and have not had a chance to read all of it yet, but it looks very interesting when I skim through it. It came highly recommended to me by a person who had knee surgery; she felt this book answered a lot of questions and had all the information she needed to know for pre- and post-surgery therapies,etc. I am anxious to sit down and read through it before I have my knee replacement surgery next month. I gave this five stars based on my friend's glowing report about the book.
