To be honest, the words play just as important a part as the music itself in this song. The truth and emotion that is injected into every word by the musician and the lyricist, and the feeling used in the recording, makes this song a pleasure to listen to for anyone that is, or has ever been in love. Taken from the album Affirmation, which i also reccomend highly.

I've liked Savage Garden for a long time and if "Affirmaion" is anything like this song then I know I will love it! The words are beautiful and the lead vocals are great. Wonderful love song.

If you like Savage Garden and you like the song " I Knew I loved You" then you must get the single. It also has a great! remix song of IKILY. The cd cover is also great, Darren ( lead singer) has an amazing voice!

I must say, I really love these guys. I just heard them for the first time about a month ago while watching a movie,they had the title track. Not only did I start searching for their music, I changed the type radio stations I listen to. "I Knew I Loved You Before I Met You" Is one of the most beautifully written songs I've heard in a long time.(not to mention"Truly, Deeply,Madly") I recommend you buy this CD if it's the only one you buy this year!You won't be disappointed! This song is great! It is a wonderful love song. Even if you dont like savage garden you should buy this song becuase it's so good. It's a song that you can use to express your love to someone or just enjoy it yourself.

The song I Knew I Loved You is the best ever! At one of my classmate's parties to celebrate Christmas, this song enabled me to dance with one girl (my crush). I would love to thank the writers and Savage Garden for this wonderful song!

Savage Garden starts off the year with a wonderful single, "I knew I loved you." The lyrics are so mesmerizing that the first time I heard it, it brought chills because everything about the emotion was so true. In addition with the lead singer's voice, this is one of the most powerful songs I've heard and will definately be something that I will sing with my special man during my wedding.

I really haven't ever listened to Savage Garden before, but once I heard this song on the radio, I was addicted to it. The hook is so infectious and the lyrics are strong. The song is very good and even the Mini-me remix is good, unlike some slow-to-fast song remixes. This would be a great buy for anyone who loves ballads, even if you aint never heard it before.

This is the first Savage Garden CD I have ever bought. I am really impressed by the lyrics of this song. Some Talented song writing went to this beautiful piece of music. I don't know what I never bought their previous debut album from 1997. Nor I have I bought the current whole CD yet. Just the Single for now. Nonetheless, this is their best song since "To the Moon and Back". That song was so fresh! I don't know which one is Darren or Darryl but they have a unique sound. I don't know why they call the second track the "Mini Me Mix". Is it because the song was in Austin Powers or something? Someone tell me. The "Mini Me Mix" is, however, a cool dance mix. You'll enjoy this.
