Last week I had the flu and I was laid up listening to Coltrane and Henry Cow for the whole period. I was not getting better, and I realized maybe that was because things musical around my place were just getting toooooooooo serious.

So I went and got myself this. Suzie Qautro may not break any invention or emotional impact records, but I don't climb apple trees looking for toothpaste, either.

She is smart, has a great backing band, and quite a tasteful alto singing style. This is just good old 1970s middle of the road rock and roll--the type we took for granted in those days. Now that rock is digtized and homoginized, we realize how good this music sounds.

Play it next to Areatha or any female heavywieght vocalist, or, say, some Johnny Winter or Alman Brothers, and it just works wonders.

Oh yeah, in case you wondered, 98.6 and feeling great. -

Well now the wait is over, all of Suzi Quatro's EMI studio cd's are now out remastered.

BGO have done a great job with the cover, also their remastering is top quality as Suzi's first four albums where remastered by this company back in 2000.

Its good to see that Stumblin In, the second track is on the If you knew Suzi part of the cd, as this was not on the original issue of the Lp way back in 78 when released down under.

Its also great to see Suzi and other four letter words remastered as well. This is a Suzi's favorite. Some great personal lovely tracks like Starlight lady, You are my lover, which is my personal favorite and the hit single She's in love with you.

Now all we need is Suzi Quatro's Rock Hard album, So BGO one more left to remaster.... Suzi owns the rights to that Album.

Both of these albums are a contempary music fans delight and a Suzi Quatro fan must have it now cd, mainly because they are strong in their written content and strong in musical taste.

What else would you expect from the Queen of Rock!!!

I knew what we were getting as far as the music of Suzie Quatro my wife and I used to listen to the album If you knew Suzie, on cassette when it first came out thirty years ago. It was one of our favorite albums and I have looked for a copy of it for years thank you Amazon for providing one for us to purchase. The music on this album has brought back many happy memories of us being young and in love.
