My son loves to build all kinds of things with K'nex. They are easy to manipulate and they are only limited by their own creativity and imaginations. I would say these are better than legos.

Bought this for my six year old daughter and she has yet to build anything with it. She can't follow the instructions to make the models. She loves it when I make the models for her and she then can play with them. The pieces are pretty durable although the blocks seem to not stay together all that well. Great toy for a little older kids or adults.
