K'NEX swings into action in their Thrill Ride line of construction toys with the K'NEX swing ride. The ubiquitous centrifugal ride has been gracing carnivals for decades, and now you have the chance to create one at home. Using 853 original K'NEX rods and connectors, build from scratch a swing that really rotates. Reaching over two feet tall and three feet in diameter, the swing ride rewards determination and imagination.

Construct the base, swing, and motor and watch as your machine comes to life. It's fun to see imaginations run wild, and when the child has mastered the swing, K'NEX has included instructions to build an alternate thrill ride. The K'NEX swing ride takes the traditional puzzle, makes it three dimensional, and adds interactive play.

If you have had some experience with K'NEX toys, then construction is fairly straightforward, but even without prior use, little time is needed to get acquainted. Patience is important, and a child that is determined to finish puzzles will take to this toy. The swing ride provides hours of fun for the little builder in your life, however, with many small plastic pieces and moving parts the manufacturer recommends this toy for ages eight and up. What a deal of just over $10 I couldn't be happier. Bought for 8yr old son and after getting it wished I would have gotten it for me,lol It has been a huge hit with all of the kids and hubby and of course myself. The motor just brings it to life and made it even more fun then the non-motorized sets. Great value, and endless possiblities of building with so many pieces.

Great product!! It's a good ride to make. If u want to put dolls on this ride, make sure they're not heavy, at greatest 12oz. Buy this product!! Put it somewhere above cats or dogs. That is the Recommendation.

Our 8-yr old son built this along with some of the other K'nex amusement park models. Fun to put together (it;s not easy, however) but even more fun to see it actually work! Encourages engineering!
