Book Description

This is an 11 page article on How to Sharpen your knife. 100% of Outdoorsmen use a knife and yet I bet less than 5% can sharpen one. It does take some skills but it doesn't require a PhD. I've worked for 3 of the top 4 Beef Plants for the last 30 years so let's see if I can't help you out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Informative October 25, 2011

Format:Kindle Edition
What an informative article! I have never sharpened my own knives, but am a strong advocate of doing things yourself. I feel like I could do so much more capably after reading. Thank you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Makes it simple October 6, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This little book is a good read, fairly we'll thought out and explained to where even I could understand the process. The author demystifies general sharpening and gives insight on the tools used in the process. I enjoyed and learned something from the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Short but to the point December 19, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Good techniques and information about sharpening knives. The article is short and to the point about knife-sharpening and th author shares with you his techniques based on his experience but does not try to force his method onto the reader.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very easy to Understand ! August 15, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I enjoined his way of writing and explaining how to do things. If I would say anything that I didn't like it might be no pictures examples of his work.

I also like the way he tells the reader if it works for you keep doing it. He isn't only one way but open which for me makes him even more believable .

I would record end this book as a simple but fact full way to learn how to take care of any knife.

4.0 out of 5 stars Knife sharpening January 24, 2013

Good and concise information, easy to follow, and to understand. I enjoyed his stories. They were a pleasant diversion from what might have been a dry text.

3.0 out of 5 stars Hold Your Edge June 19, 2014

A very good review of how important it is to maintain an edged tool. Take the techniques and have knives and edged tools ready for the task at hand. A sharp tool is a safe tool.
