This is a very good product. I have a primos rattling bag. Now the rattling bag was good and did the job. The bag helped me score a 9 pointer last year so I can't complain. However, there are a few flaws with a bag. It is kind of difficult to control the sound. Yeah you are rattling, but your just crashing it together and the crashes can be longer or shortly than you expected since the rods are randomly falling and rubbing together as you use the bag. I was tempted by the former pack rack. It was smaller and more convenient. I actually had to buy a cheap hunting bag this year because of the size of this rattle and the larger binoculars I picked out. Don't worry it will fit in most bags, my bag was smaller and more of a bow season bag. I needed a bigger one for rifle season just for the binos alone. This pack rack magnum is basically the same as last year's model, but is is 2" wider and on the top it is 5 pegs where as last year there was six. For me, in missouri the deer can be fairly far away. I need more power (ar ar ar ar ar) to cut through the wind and weather. This will go that extra 200 yards if you need it. The rattle sound is very realistic. You have control over when you want to simulate the clash and how many times you want the antlers to bang together. The control and volume are the best parts. You can make it sound like two young bucks are going at it or two monsters. All by the frequency you bang them together, if you cup the sides, and how hard you hit them against one another. Don't worry about this rattle. It will last a long time. It is made of a really thick and durable plastic. Kind of similar to the plastic used in elementry school chairs, but much thicker. I bet I could jump on this and throw it against concrete and it will still keep working. The rattle is so realistic. I am still amazed. This is definitely going with me during the rut. Volume wise this to me sounds 3x louder than my rattle bag. You use this with the primos uproar call (read my review) and some scents in the area and I bet you will have a winning combination. I highly recommend this. By far the best rattle I've used next to real bulky antlers which can be dangerous.

Finally a rattling system that sounds authenic and is easy to pack to my hunting area with a price that is well.....reasonable. Thanks Knight and Hale!
