Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
Well, let's start off noticing how similar the game is to Rad Racer. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if it was running off the same hardware as Rad Racer...
But, on to the full review.
There are 2 modes of play, a Mission Mode, where you are on missions throughout landmark US cities, and Drive Mode, which is, well, a Free Play mode where you drive along dodging cars. Simple enough.
In Mission Mode, you play as K.I.T.T., as Devon constantly assigns you on different missions. You drive around in the streets of iconic cities, such as Seattle, Las Vegas, NYC, etc. dodging cars and trucks, though some are enemies. You can spot them out instantly as they fire erratically and relentlessly. You are equipped with bullets and a set number of missiles. Take the baddies down, simple enough. But, you have a fuel limit. Every Once and a while Bonnie comes in the Semi, and you have to carefully pull into it. She offers either: A Shield upgrade, Engine upgrade, Gas, or Missiles. TAKE THE GAS!
There are a total of 16 cities to drive around in, so close the door, turn off the lights, grab a Coke, and get comfortable, as it'll be a long game.

Pros: -Features characters faithful to the show
-Good control
-Some of the best sound effects for a racing game for the NES (like the engine-it's pretty hard to replicate on an NES)
-Pretty good graphics

Cons: -Hard, hard, oh, and did I mention HARD?
-Gets pretty repetitive after a while
-Really freakin' Long
-Boring as hell music, and NONE from the TV show! It isn't that complicated of a theme!
-VERY weak shield, so if you need gas but your shield is almost gone, you're screwed.

2.0 out of 5 stars one of the worst racing games ever December 14, 2013
this game is horrible. it is so boring and the updates of the vehicle is useless. the only reason I rated this 2 stars is because the music is decent oh and the sound effects are not horrible but they r still bad.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as what you'd expect January 19, 2013

This game is extremely hard & really not what you'd expect for Knight Rider. I normally don't like games to be easy but this is just waaaay to hard. I've had friends who play video games all day try it & they couldn't get past the first level since it's also a bit difficult to control. The only reason I gave it three stars instead of one is because it's Knight Rider & I loved the show.
