Format: Paperback
My elementary male students especially enjoyed cutting out these colorful knights and their armor. Some of the kids had difficulty managing the glossy sheets and would have benefited from thicker, more sturdy pages.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful By C. Cunningham on September 11, 2004
Format: Paperback
Wonderful details on all pages, however, my eager-to-learn daugters found the amount of cutting required to be a bit tedious. Nevertheless, if you are looking for an historical accurate rendering with a built-in activity to fill some time, you can't go wrong with this book. I suggest that teachers do the actual cutting before hand, laminate the figures, and store all the pieces the way you would a file folder game. This would certainly make play time much more enjoyable for the children.

Enjoy!

Some of the pieces are so detailed that adults or students with high motor skills would need to cut them out. It appears to be a child's book, but it needs adult supervision and help to be used. The information contained in the pages are also more for upper elementary ages up to adults.
